That’s 29 picks for the four AFC West teams in the 2020 NFL Draft with the Denver Broncos leading the way with ten and the Kansas City Chiefs bringing up the rear with just five.

With the first pick of the bunch, the Los Angeles Chargers select the franchise’s quarterback of the future. With two picks in the first round, the Las Vegas Raiders select a defensive back and a wide receiver who both should help the team get back to the division’s summit. Denver uses its ten picks to add a boatload of talent while shoring up some glaring holes.

All the while, the Kansas City Chiefs can stay ahead of the rest while preparing for the future.

But, there should be no doubt: the Broncos, Chargers, and Raiders will get better through the 2020 NFL Draft. It won’t be enough to catch the Chiefs, but to shrink the gap?
