The Chiefs face the Ravens and Texans since they were the champs of their respective divisions and should tread carefully in both cases.

Most probably read those last words and then thought of the seven touchdown onslaught against the Texans and wonder why there is a need for caution.

Yes, I remember that game and you better believe that the Texans do too and will be looking to make sure it doesn’t happen again. At the beginning of that game, only a few mistakes put the Chiefs in a 24-point hole, and if it happened again, the Texans will be out for blood.

Also – Don’t forget – The Texans did beat the Chiefs in Arrowhead at the beginning of the 2019 season (week six to be exact). Injuries played a major factor in that game and we saw that when healthy, the Chiefs were the better team, but 2020 is a different year and different results are to be expected.

The Ravens are another team that people should be standing up and taking notice, and a lot aren’t because of how they ended their season. Yes, the Titans drudged the Ravens at home in the Divisional Round, but before that, the Ravens  went on a 12 game winning streak, where they torched the league with an incredible offense and stifling defense.

This will be a match-up of probably the two most electric young quarterbacks playing in the league right now. The Chiefs have to travel for this one, which could be tricky, but the Ravens have faltered at home in big moments the past two years, so anything is possible.
