THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS ARE SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS, BABY! What a game. What a moment. Let’s take a look at the biggest winners from the best game of our lives.

Throughout the regular season, I had been doing a weekly post highlighting the winners and losers from the most recent Kansas City Chiefs game. While there were certainly losers from the Super Bowl LIV victory over the Niners, I’m way too happy to talk about those right now, so this will be a winners only edition.

Let’s get to it, shall we?

WINNER: PATRICK MAHOMES

Well, duh. The Super Bowl LIV MVP is definitely making an appearance on this list and if we’re being 100% honest, Mahomes didn’t even play one of his better games. He was getting hit and pressured constantly throughout the game and still managed to lead his team down the field and score.

Mahomes went 26 of 42 for 286 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions while getting sacked four times and getting hit eight times. He was running for his life on a lot of the plays, but when it mattered the most, Mahomes made the plays he needed to make and got his team the title.

Oh, Mahomes also rushed for 29 yards and a touchdown off of nine carries. He was doing it all on Sunday once again and it shows that even on a bad night, he’s still far and away the best quarterback in the NFL.
