There really wasn’t a lot to be angry about in this one. The Chiefs were a touchdown favorite for a reason in this game and even after getting down by ten points early, they didn’t back down.

The Chiefs continued their trend of struggling early in the game, but they tuned things around and did what we all knew they were capable of, which is putting up points. After trailing 10-0, the Chiefs went on a 35-14 run down the stretch. It was an 18 point game until the Titans were able to find the end zone with a little over four minutes left.

Once they got the jitters out, the Chiefs controlled this game and forced the Titans to get away from what got them to this point in the first place. Tennessee opted to start throwing the ball more rather than handing off to Derrick Henry on every other play. That was exactly what Kansas City was angling to do and they’ll need to do the same thing against the 49ers in two weeks.

For the first time in my life, the Kansas City Chiefs will be participating in the Super Bowl and I can’t freaking wait.

Bring on the 49ers!
