NUMBER FIVE – TOM BRADY (NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS)

Oh how the might have fallen.

Remember that little blurb above where I said this wouldn’t be based on past experiences, but rather this season only? Yeah, I was alluding to Tom Brady there. If you haven’t watched Brady this season, he has not been good and it’s possible that Father Time is FINALLY coming to get ol’ Brady boy.

The Patriots might have gone 12-4 this year, but their schedule was a joke and their 2-3 record in their final five games might have shown us who this team really is. If you took away the name Tom Brady and looked at his stats from this year, you’d probably loop him in with the lower tier quarterbacks of the league.

The only reason Brady is any bit intimidating is because of his name and that when it comes time for it, he’ll figure things out and make the plays necessary. Brady hasn’t been that guy this year though, so it’ll be interesting to see how he performs against the Titans. Tennessee’s defense is quite good and Brady hasn’t been able to move the ball effectively this season.

The Patriots defense was pretty good this season, but they chose a bad week to stink up the place (Chiefs fans appreciate it though!) and we’ll see if they’re actually good or were just good because they were playing junior varsity squads.

Either way, Tom Brady isn’t a scary quarterback to face this postseason.
