Kansas City Chiefs fans have the opportunity to say thank you to Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Miami Dolphins for the upset victory and here’s how.

Perhaps Christmas comes late in some years, and for the Kansas City Chiefs, the greatest of gifts came on Sunday with a convincing victory over divisional rival Chargers. Then, the news that the Miami Dolphins went into the lair of Tom Brady and pulled off the upset victory of the season, topping the New England Patriots and gifting the Chiefs the two seed in the AFC Playoffs and a bye week.

Now, Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes and company have an extra week to prepare for whatever opponent may come their way.

With a late touchdown pass for the win, Chiefs fans have the opportunity to say thank you to Miami signal caller Ryan Fitzpatrick. Chiefs fan can chip in $14 (Fitzpatrick’s jersey number is 14) to his foundation, and it’s a good cause as well. For a second consecutive season, the Kansas City Chiefs playoff seeding has been aided by a surprise Dolphins victory over the Patriots.

For Chiefs and NFL fans far too aware of the dangers and risks of concussions in football, could we as Chiefs fans have a better foundation to help reward for an upset victory and a Chiefs bye week? A foundation dedicated to making life better for players dealing with the affects of the game we love to watch, we help our favorite sports while we say thank you.
