The KC Chiefs square off against the Chicago Bears, their final NFC North opponent of 2019, on Sunday Night Football this weekend. What should fans be watching for in the Windy City?

With only two games remaining in 2019, the Kansas City Chiefs will hit the road one final time in the regular season and it’ll come in Chicago against the Bears, who were eliminated from playoff contention last week.

This game will be interesting for a variety of reasons, and possibly the most intriguing reason is what will kick off our list of what to watch for in week 16.

ANDY REID VS MATT NAGY

It wasn’t long ago when Matt Nagy was the offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs and had Alex Smith looking like an MVP quarterback. For that reason, it made sense when Nagy was heavily grouped in as a legitimate head coaching candidate for the 2018 season, and he eventually landed with the Chicago Bears.

In his first year at the helm in Chicago, Nagy led the Bears to an NFC North title and a playoff berth. They went on to get eliminated due to the infamous “double doink” missed field goal, but turning things around that quickly was impressive.

One would have to think that Nagy will be pulling out all the stops for this game. He’s going up against his old protege in Andy Reid, and that is enough for Nagy to make sure his offense throws just about everything at the Chiefs.

Reid has been able to defeat most of his former students (with the most recent being John Harbaugh of the Ravens in week three), but we’ll see if Nagy can pull a fast one over his former teacher.
