The KC Chiefs moved to 10-4 on the year after knocking off the Broncos by a score of 23-3 in a snowy Arrowhead Stadium.

The Kansas City Chiefs were coming off a big win over the Patriots while the Denver Broncos were suddenly a resurgent team with their rookie quarterback taking over and leading the charge. It made sense for some Chiefs fans to slightly worry if this Broncos team would be a much better one than who the Chiefs faced in week seven.

Well – We found out pretty quickly in this one that the Chiefs are still head and shoulders above the Broncos as far as talent goes. The Chiefs took the lead early on and never looked back while Denver mustered one measly field goal through four quarters.

It was even more impressive that the Chiefs did so in the wintery conditions that were hitting Arrowhead throughout the game. That made it fun to watch on TV and one game that we’ll certainly look back on when it comes to the “football weather” games.

With another victory in the books, who were the winners and losers from this blowout Chiefs win? Let’s start by looking at one of the winners.

WINNER: TRAVIS KELCE

We’ll start with an obvious entry and that’s Travis Kelce, who made history on Sunday. Coming into this game, Kelce was 11 yards away from recording 1,000 on the year. He got that total pretty quickly into this game and that made him the first ever NFL tight end to notch 1,000 yards receiving in four straight seasons.

Aside from the record breaking day, Kelce had a nice performance, grabbing 11 catches for 142 yards. He might not have found the end zone, but the yardage total was the most he’s had in a game so far this season.

It was a nice performance by the Chiefs tight end and solidified him as one of the greatest offensive players in the NFL.
