Some people rest on the laurels of just making the fantasy playoffs. Not I. I am there to win, and to do that, you sometimes may have to take a little risk.

Robby Anderson qualifies as a risk, and then some. Anderson has only been over ten fantasy points five times all season long. Of those five games, four were 18 points or more. Anderson qualifies as a go big or go home candidate. You might be in a situation were you are facing a “super team” in your league, and you need a dart throw to help even the odds. Anderson represents that.

There also happens to be some precedent for Anderson to actually have a good game here. Baltimore has one of the top defenses in the league, and it has only gotten better with the addition of Marcus Peters (trade) and Jimmy Smith (injury) being injected into their lineup. That being said, the Ravens have one small weakness that Anderson has a chance to exploit.

The Ravens have, at times, struggled to clamp down deep threat, slot type receivers. Mecole Hardman burnt them deep when they played the Chiefs; Jarvis Landry TORCHED them for over 150 yards when the Ravens played Cleveland; Larry Fitzgerald and Julian Edelman also put up over 15 fantasy points against Baltimore from the slot position when they faced this defense.

Couple that with the fact that Anderson has over 18 fantasy points in his last three games, and you might have yourself a good play this week. Anderson has the elite type of speed to strike at anytime. He could be held to three points going into the fourth quarter, only to hit a 70 yard touchdown bomb to save his day.

If you need to take a risk to advance in your league, look at Robby Anderson to help you out.
