Fantasy Football 2019: Thursday Night Football Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Week 15
By Kole Berrey
For many of you, last week was the start of the fantasy football playoffs. For some, this week marks the beginning of your postseason journey.
Either way, the playoffs are in full swing, and this is the last week that you need to worry about setting fantasy football lineups on a Thursday night. Which reminds me, if you have a player on Thursday night, TAKE THEM OUT OF YOUR FLEX.
I know it may look a little wonky having Marquise Brown as your WR1 and Julio Jones in your flex spot. The reasoning behind this is if Jones gets injured in practice on Friday, and Brown has already played in your flex, that forces you to replace Jones with a bench wide receiver.
If Jones was in your flex, however, you can replace him with a running back, wide receiver, or in some leagues, a tight end. Just do it folks, and thank me for your fantasy football championship in the comments below.
With that being said, this game offers a lot of fantasy relevant players. Most of you who were able to draft Lamar Jackson have probably rode him to the playoffs, and if you were able to get him late and add other talent first, may have the makings of a championship squad.
Outside of Jackson though, both teams have players who are Start ‘Em worthy, and there are a few big names here who could be headed for a down week. Before we get to that, let us get it STARTed with my Start of the Week (did you see what I did there? Ha. Classic)
