FanSided 250: Patrick Mahomes mania is real

The 2019 FanSided 250 list of hottest fandoms is out, and Patrick Mahomes has made the list!
Kansas City Chiefs fans are nuts about their star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, but he could become one of the faces of the NFL as well. Mahomes’ fandom earned a place on FanSided 250, a list ranking the hottest, most passionate fandoms in the world.
As the reigning NFL MVP, Mahomes has the game to warrant his legions of fans. Add in his likeness on the cover of Madden NFL 20, and you can see how this young man is earning his place as one of the most popular players in the NFL.
His 2018 season was one of the most impressive in league history. He threw for 5,097 yards, had 50 touchdowns, with only 12 interceptions. While his 2020 numbers aren’t as overwhelming, they are outstanding as he has 3,266 yards passing, 21 touchdowns, and just three interceptions. Best of all, his record as a starter is 21-7!

He has put up these numbers despite dealing with a variety of injuries, ranging from a bad ankle early in the season to a dislocated knee that led to him missing two and a half games to his recent hand injury.
Nothing seems to be able to stop Mahomes, however. He has done commercials for numerous local businesses, and well as national brands, like Head & Shoulders.
