LOSER: PATRICK MAHOMES

It’s unpopular to say anything bad about Patrick Mahomes, but he’s been struggling the past few weeks and now we might know why, as he appears to have an injury to his hand. Mahomes finished the game with 283 yards through the air, a touchdown, and an interception, but he doesn’t look like the same quarterback from a year ago.

Mahomes made throws in this game and was undoubtedly the better quarterback, but he’s looked off. He would often throw the ball earlier than necessary and had inaccurate throws as well.

There’s still plenty of time for him to get back to form, but defenses have been able to slow down the reigning MVP as of late. He finally got his win over the Patriots though, so more power to MVPat.

LOSER: PENALTIES

After having a penalty free game last week, the Chiefs failed to do so in week 14. They had ten penalties for 136 yards compared to New England’s five flags for 25 yards. To go from zero penalties to ten is a lot and the Chiefs need to work on this moving forward because this could prove costly in the playoffs.

LOSER: ALLOWING BRADY TO RUN FOR 17 YARDS

‘Nuff said. How did Charvarius Ward have zero awareness as to where Brady was at? You can’t let a 42 year old quarterback run for 17 yards, especially in the waning moments of the game. This seemed like something that’d happen to KC in the playoffs, not in a regular season game.

Now let’s pretend it never happened.
