WINNER: PASS RUSH

Tom Brady isn’t used to getting sacked much and the Chiefs made sure to make him uncomfortable in this game. They sacked the future Hall of Fame quarterback three times while adding another six hits.

Frank Clark, Chris Jones, and Alex Okafor had the sacks and one hit each while Reggie Ragland, Daniel Sorensen, and Tanoh Kpassagnon had the other three. This unit made sure Brady felt the heat in the cold New England weather.

WINNER: BASHAUD BREELAND

Bashaud Breeland has been hit and miss for the Chiefs this year, but he’s listed as a winner here for two reasons. One was that pick put the Chiefs in the red zone where the offense were able to pull off some trickery and score a touchdown. Breeland’s pick made that possible.

Breeland also had the key defended pass against the Patriots offense on fourth and goal that helped seal the win for Kansas City. While Breeland has struggled at times this year (especially with penalties), he had big time plays on Sunday and that’s what this defense needs in critical moments.
