Start of the Week – Michael Gallup, WR, Dallas Cowboys

player. 123. . Wide Receiver. Dallas Cowboys. Michael Gallup. 13

Michael Gallup‘s fantasy floor this year has been tremendous.

Quietly, Gallup has had at least 8.8 PPR points in every game except one this year when he’s played. He’s having a breakout season and though he’s coming off just a three reception game on Thanksgiving, the Bears just gave up almost 40 combined fantasy points to Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones. The Bills pass defense is third in the NFL and have been great this year and still struggled against the Cowboys.

While Amari Cooper looks like he will suit up Thursday night, it is clear he isn’t 100% after an MRI on his knee last Friday. It’s no secret the Bears’ defense isn’t as good as last year’s and the Cowboys offense has been a juggernaut all year. I expect Dallas to put up points in a game where they need to make a statement.

The pass-heavy offense that Dallas has thrown out this year has been unexpected, but it has resulted in career years from many guys. The sample size has been 13 weeks now and there’s no reason to expect a change this week.

Expect a big game from Gallup as a WR2 with WR1 upside. Fire him up with confidence as the start of the week on Thursday night.
