COWBOYS VS BILLS – SIT ‘EM

Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen isn’t a terrible play this week, but this is a bad match-up for him. The Dallas Cowboys rank 25th in points allowed to fantasy quarterbacks, and they have the players that could contain Allen’s rushing ability.

Dallas has some of the most athletic linebackers in the league, and they can keep up with Allen when he decides to turn it up-field. That will limit his ceiling this week.

Frank Gore, RB, Buffalo Bills

Frank Gore is a very risky play. He sees plenty of touches, averaging 11 touches in his last four games. In those games, he hasn’t broken ten fantasy points.

He will be very touchdown dependent, and has a floor that could see him score below five points. He may end up having a good week, but the risk is too great to play this close to the fantasy playoffs.

Jason Witten, TE, Dallas Cowboys

Jason Witten is the #13 tight end in fantasy. He has only broke ten points once this year. That shows you just how shallow the position is, so it could be tempting to trot the veteran out there this week. You shouldn’t do that for a few reasons.

First, the Bills allow less than four fantasy points per game to tight ends. Then if you consider that Blake Jarwin sees targets for the Cowboys as well, you can see how starting Witten could be a recipe for disaster.
