The KC Chiefs have five games remaining on their schedule in 2019. Let’s rank them from least difficult to most difficult.

The 2019 season has flown by for the Kansas City Chiefs and now here we sit with just five games remaining before the playoffs begin. Three of the five games come against division rivals while the other two are against teams that made the playoffs a year ago.

Let’s rank these games from least difficult to most difficult!

NUMBER 5 (LEAST DIFFICULT)

WEEK 15 VS DENVER BRONCOS

The KC Chiefs faced the Denver Broncos on the road in week seven for Thursday Night Football. That was the game in which Patrick Mahomes was injured and missed all but the first quarter yet the Chiefs went on to smoke the Broncos 30-6.

The defense put up nine sacks in the game and absolutely decimated the Denver offense. It was an absolute s—show for the Broncos in that game and they really haven’t improved much since then, even with Joe Flacco not starting anymore and Brandon Allen taking over at quarterback.

This is the Chiefs’ easiest game remaining in 2019 because:

  1. It’s against a bad team.
  2. They already smoked the Broncos so they know they can beat them.
  3. It’s at Arrowhead Stadium.

All of that being said, the only reason I’d be somewhat pessimistic heading into this game is that the Broncos are due for a win against the Chiefs. They haven’t beaten them since September 2015 and if they lose this one, that’d make it four straight seasons in which the Chiefs have swept the Broncos.

Don’t expect Denver to just lie down and hand KC a victory.
