Sit of the Week – All Colts Running Backs

player. 46. . Running Back. Indianapolis Colts. All Colts Running Backs. 00

There’s a chance one of the Colts backs has a good game this week, in fact it’s likely. However, picking one of them to start is anyone’s guess.

With usual backup Jordan Wilkins out last week, Jonathan Williams took the reigns and rushed 13 times for 116 yards. That’s good for almost eight yards per carry. However, Nyheim Hines vultured a touchdown and  was still the passing down back for the Colts.

What muddies the waters even more is the fact that Jordan Wilkins is expected to be back for Thursday night. Wilkins has looked really good behind Marlon Mack this year as a change-of-pace back and I would expect him to get the bulk of the carries.

However, it is impossible to tell which of the three will get what on a short week and Wilkins coming back from an ankle injury. One of them may have a good week, and if I was a betting man I’d say it would be Wilkins, but it’s too risky to take that chance at this point in the fantasy football season.

Hines will presumably keep his roll as the pass-catching back and may get more snaps than normal, but it’s just too hard to tell. Stay away from all three and go pick up Derrius Guice if he is somehow on your waiver wire.
