Eleven weeks have come and gone in the NFL and we’re learning more and more about the AFC West as the weeks go by. The KC Chiefs still lead the division, but not by much.

The AFC West went 2-2 in week 11 and as of now, the Kansas City Chiefs are still in first place. The Oakland Raiders are within striking distance, however, setting up for what could be a huge week 13 battle between the two at Arrowhead Stadium.

Before we dive into what we learned about each squad, let’s take a look at the divisional standings.

  1. Kansas City Chiefs (7-4)
  2. Oakland Raiders (6-4)
  3. Los Angeles Chargers (4-7)
  4. Denver Broncos (3-7)

The Chiefs are narrowly holding onto their lead, and as I mentioned earlier, that Chiefs/Raiders game in two weeks is going to be a big one. The Chargers and Broncos are essentially out of any playoff running, but crazier things have happened. They’re not mathematically eliminated just yet.

Anyway, let’s get into what we learned about the AFC West this week, starting with a losing team.
