The Los Angeles Chargers travel to the “black hole” in a showdown with division rival Oakland Raiders for Thursday Night Football. Who should you have locked and loaded in fantasy football?

In a weak AFC, there seems to be a sudden opportunity for both of these teams to sneak into the playoffs, making these an intriguing matchup in fantasy football and on the actual field. Who should you start and who should be left on the bench?

It appears the firing of offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt may have sparked the underwhelming Los Angeles Chargers. He was either the problem or the scapegoat for a revamped team altogether in week 9.

The Chargers came out with 442 total yards to the dismay of Aaron Rodgers and company. This led to big fantasy days for Melvin Gordon, Mike Williams, and Hunter Henry. It looks like this whole offense will see a boost in fantasy production with Whisenhunt gone. While all their pieces are getting healthier, the Chargers looked like the team everyone expected coming into the year.

Quietly, Jon Gruden has led the Oakland Raiders to a 4-4 record and they have a real puncher’s chance at being the wild card team in the AFC. This week has huge implications for those chances and this game should be very competitive. That is great news for fantasy owners who have Raiders and Chargers are their team.

Running back Josh Jacobs was electric last week and should be in fantasy lineups everywhere after 24 fantasy points. He won’t make this list and neither will fellow running back Melvin Gordon who finally got going last week.

With that being said, there are plenty of big fantasy names in this matchup. This clash in the Coliseum will surely win some fantasy owners their week 10, but there are some guys to steer clear of for Thursday night.
