LOSER: RUN GAME

I know one of the two Chiefs touchdowns was via a long touchdown run by Damien Williams, but if you take away that 91 yard run, the rushing stats aren’t impressive at all. Without that 91 yard run, Kansas City’s run game would have totaled just 56 yards off of 17 carries.

For a team that was without its MVP quarterback and needed to lean on the run game a little more, the Chiefs are still pretty awful at running the football. That’s going to cost them a game later down the road because you know dang well a team is going to force them to run the ball in big moments.

LOSER: NOT FORCING TURNOVERS

The Chiefs had zero takeaways on Sunday and while they still managed to win the game, this is something they haven’t been able to do all that well in 2019. The Vikings lost two fumbles, but recovered both of them.

The Chiefs need to get themselves on top of the football whenever the other team lets it squeak out of their hands. That could eventually be the difference between a win and a loss.
