The KC Chiefs pulled out all the stops against a very good Minnesota Vikings team, winning it 26-23 on Sunday afternoon.

This was quite the game. Back and forth the lead jumped from the Kansas City Chiefs to Minnesota Vikings and despite KC not having Patrick Mahomes under center, the good guys notched a much-needed victory.

The Chiefs are now 6-3 on the year and this was a win that needed to happen. It wouldn’t have been panic time had KC lost, but luckily we don’t have to dive into how we’d be feeling had that kick not gone through the uprights.

Speaking of the kick, let’s get right into the winners and losers this week, starting with the biggest winner of the game.

WINNER: HARRISON BUTKER

Harrison Butker hasn’t been quite as clutch as he was last year, but the guy did everything that was asked of him on Sunday and then some. His biggest moment obviously came in the final seconds of the game, when he booted the game winning kick through the uprights as time expired.

Butker went four for four on field goal attempts while knocking through both extra point attempts. He hadn’t been the same guy we saw from a season ago, but without Harrison Butker, the Chiefs are playing in overtime and had the Vikings gotten the ball first then, it’s not a sure thing that KC would have been able to stop the Minnesota offense from scoring a touchdown.

Thank you for all you do, Buttkicker.com.
