KC Chiefs: Four things to watch vs Minnesota Vikings in week nine
A game that no one expected the KC Chiefs to be in turned out to be one of the better primetime games of the season. Can the Chiefs replicate their success from a week ago, this time against the Vikings?
The Green Bay Packers came into Arrowhead stadium as the favorite to win the game. If it weren’t for a costly fumble and questionable decision to punt, we may be talking about how the Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback took down Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.
When all hope was lost for Chiefs in a game they didn’t expect to win, Andy Reid showed up on Sunday night with a game plan for his backup quarterback that lead to an entertaining football game. We saw Reid find ways to get the ball into his play-makers hands without forcing quarterback Matt Moore to become uncomfortable.
After a questionable start to the game where KC fell into an early 14-0 deficit, the Chiefs got back into a rhythm and found their groove behind Moore and started looking like the team they were all season. After battling back and multiple lead changes, Kansas City fell a touchdown shy of locking up their sixth win on the season.
Now moving onto week nine, the Chiefs will remain at home and welcome in the 6-2 Minnesota Vikings. Let’s take a look at what could factor into this weeks match up.
