Week seven was a game that KC Chiefs fans want to both enjoy and also punch a wall over. Now, the Chiefs host the Packers for a primetime match-up.

Yes, the Kansas City Chiefs came out with a win over the Broncos, but it came at the cost of their star quarterback going down to a dislocated knee cap. Although the injury came out with the best possible scenario, losing a player of Patrick Mahomes‘ caliber will be costly in a time where they have run into a buzz-saw part of the schedule with two challenging opponents coming up.

Each week we see a new Chiefs player show out and this past week we saw 11 guys show up big for their squad. During Chiefs’ 30-6 victory over the Denver Broncos, we saw a new side of the Chiefs that we had yet to see in the first six weeks of the season; a Super Bowl caliber defense.

While some may say that it was more so on a Denver front line that is not very good, it still takes hard work to put up the numbers Chiefs did on defense. Coach Spagnuolo showed up in Denver with a game plan and executed it well. The defense put up a stat line of: 9 Sacks, 11 Tackles for Loss, 10 QB Hits, 3 Forced Fumbles, and a scoop and score for a touchdown.

Now the Chiefs will come back home to Kansas City to take on a steaming hot Green Bay Packers team led by All-Pro Aaron Rodgers himself. The Packers are coming off of a 42-24 beat down over the Oakland Raiders.

Now we take a look at some factors to keep an eye on during week eights Sunday Night Prime Time match-up versus the Packers.
