Geoff Schwartz has no worries about the Kansas City Chiefs these next few weeks, as they can go 0-2 without Patrick Mahomes and still be in great shape.

While he is somehow back at practice on Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs are likely looking at missing starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes for a few weeks as he recovers from a dislocated kneecap he suffered on Thursday Night Football‘s win last week versus the AFC West rival Denver Broncos.

On this week’s episode of Stacking the Box, FanSided‘s Matt Verderame and Mark Carman, along with former NFL offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz, look at the Chiefs’ upcoming schedule and see if they can survive a few games without Mahomes and still be able to achieve all of their wildest postseason dreams (9:05).

“Now I know that they didn’t rule him out for this [Green Bay] Packers game,” said Verderame. “I would be absolutely stunned if he plays in this game. Frankly, I think it would be negligent to play him in this game. You just can’t.”

“They don’t need to win these games,” said Schwartz. “I think they should let him fully heal. Even if he’s ready to play the [Minnesota] Vikings, wait one more week and make sure he’s really ready to play.”

The Chiefs’ next two games after the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings are against the Tennessee Titans and the Los Angeles Chargers, two teams that aren’t exactly playing great football right now. So the Chiefs can afford to drop both of these games and still win the division. 9-7 has this in the bag. Do you really think the Oakland Raiders are a 10-win team? Me neither.

Here are a few topics that were discussed on this week’s episode of Stacking the Box:

  • Is there actually a “good” team in the NFL? – 0:45
  • Verderame doesn’t think Michael Vick is a Pro Football Hall of Famer – 16:17
  • Tyreek Hill isn’t needed for the Chiefs offense to be great – 28:50
  • Packers-Chiefs odds – 37:40
