Fantasy Football 2019: Thursday Night Football Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Week 7
By Kole Berrey
Thursday Night Football is featuring the Kansas City Chiefs for the first time this season, and it is always fun to see the boys perform under the lights in primetime. This game is overflowing with fantasy football studs and sleepers.
Before we get into this week’s match-up, I’d like to congratulate my partner in crime Gage in his flawless Start and Sit suggestions last week for fantasy football owners. His start of the week? The New England Patriots defense, who ended up being the highest scoring unit of the week in fantasy.
His sit of the week went hand in hand with that prediction, as Gage warned against starting Danny Dimes, who finished with just eight fantasy points. Gage even had the foresight to tell you to start Golden Tate, who had 20 fantasy points last week.
As much as I’d like to roast Gage here, he pretty much nailed his predictions. The only thing I can even criticize is that predicting who was going to be good in this game was as easy as the Patriots schedule this season. ZING.
Now, let’s get to the Chiefs vs Broncos on Thursday Night Football. As always, this column won’t be covering the obvious decisions. If you have Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, or Travis Kelce, you are starting them. That is just how it goes.
Instead, we are going to look at some flex options, regular starters who may be poised for HUGE games or players with tough match ups you should avoid. With that being said, let’s get into the start of the week.
