Arrogance and headline hunting have left the KC Chiefs devoid of necessary depth and vital leaders. This is on general manager Brett Veach and head coach Andy Reid.

I’ve had my frustrations with the Kansas City Chiefs front office, especially since Brett Veach took over the position after John Dorsey was dismissed. Since taking over, Veach has, at least as I call it, gone headline hunting. Trade Trade Trade!!

During his first draft with issues all across the field, he unconsciously traded up for the no position defender Breeland Speaks, who, through two years, has yet to find a defensive position.

Not to be deterred or slowed down, he traded up again to select Derrick Nnadi, the ‘other guy’ in Colts offensive linemen highlight videos. Dorian O’Daniel rounded out the third round, and after one nice game against the Bengals, I believe has been in witness protection.

Not to be outdone by his cohorts allergy to draft picks, Andy Reid has created a culture, and this is a phrase used often since he took over, but one that’s finesse and bordering on soft. No player on the defense will hit you.

At this point, a player that would simply tackle you would be a step up. There is no physicality with this team, on either side of the ball. Now the Chiefs have no balance on offense and have no ability to stop the other team.

Let’s take a look at some issues
