Kansas City Chiefs: Winners and losers from week six loss to Texans
WINNER: TYREEK HILL
In his first game back since getting injured in the season opener, Tyreek Hill had himself a nice day. He caught five balls for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Were it not for Hill, the Chiefs might have had a tough time getting into the end zone on Sunday.
WINNER: TYRANN MATHIEU
The Honey Badger had ten total tackles and defended a pass against his old team. Tyrann Mathieu has been a nice signing and while an interception would have been nice, he can’t do it all. He’s been one of the few good defensive players for this team.
WINNER: EVERY CHIEF WHO FORCED TURNOVERS
Juan Thornhill had an interception at the end of the half that ended up being botched by the Chiefs offense, but it was still nice to see the ball hawk show his stuff. Charvarius Ward also had a one-handed interception to keep the Texans out of the end zone. The game could have gotten much more out of hand had Ward not gotten that pick.
While Frank Clark doesn’t necessarily belong in the winners category, he did have a fumble recovery on the first Texans drive. That part goes in the winners section.
