START ‘EM – RB

LeSean McCoy. 1. player. 124. . Running Back. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are rolling with a running back by committee approach this season, but LeSean McCoy has led the team in rushing every week so far. While Darrel Williams will take some of his carries, Shady is the guy the Chiefs turn to when they want to run the ball.

Fortunately, McCoy has a favorable match-up in week five too, as the Chiefs host the Colts on Sunday Night Football. Indy’s run defense is the eighth worst unit in the league, which bodes well for Shady and the other Chiefs running backs. Get him in your starting lineup, either as an RB2 or FLEX candidate.

SIT ‘EM – RB

42. . Running Back. San Francisco 49ers. Matt Breida. 2. player

This one isn’t necessarily about the match-up, as the Browns aren’t great at stopping the run, but more about the workload. Matt Breida is splitting carries with both Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr., and that makes him a less appealing option to throw into the starting lineup.

Breida doesn’t play until Monday, so if you have another decent option who is playing on Sunday to throw in as a FLEX instead of him, I’d likely go with that option.
