Start of the Week: Will Dissly, TE, Seattle Seahawks

36. . Tight End. Seattle Seahawks. Will Dissly. 1. player

It’s Will Dissly time in fantasy football!

The man affectionately known by some as Big Montana is enjoying a breakout year. He currently sits at TE 6 on the season, and is poised to keep his hot streak going. Dissly is averaging 15 ppg so far through four games, and that includes a week one dud of just two points. Since he has seized the starter role in Seattle, he has been a force, averaging 19 ppg over his last three starts.

There is more to consider than just numbers here as well. First off, Seattle traded away tight end Nick Vannett to the Steelers last week to the Steelers. That is a vote of confidence from the team that Dissly is the real deal.

He now doesn’t have to contend for pass catching snaps at the tight end position, and should see his five targets per game rise in the coming weeks. In fact, every single week Dissly has seen his target share increase. That could point to quarterback Russell Wilson gettting comfortable with Dissly and trusting him enough to get him the ball consistently.

Another thing to consider here is that the Rams are sixth in the league in TE points allowed in fantasy. They are allowing right around 10 ppg allowed to the tight end position, and that number is worse when you look into the context surrounding it.

The only top 10 tight end the Rams have faced is Greg Olsen. Outside of that, they allowed Demetrius Harris (TE51) and OJ Howard (TE27) to have one of their best games against them. They both only had roughly seven points, but Howard averages five ppg and Harris averages just two ppg.

Dissly is a different beast, and could flirt with 20 points this game if he can snag a touchdown.
