Thursday Night Football takes us to Seattle this week for a match-up between the Seahawks and the Rams. Who should you start and who should you sit on your fantasy football team for Thursday night?

Last week was the first time Thursday Night Football had a pulse, as the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles put on a show. The game itself was a back and forth affair with a ton of points scored, 61 total to be precise. That means it wasn’t only a viewer friendly game, but fantasy football friendly as well.

Here at KC Kingdom, my partner in crime Gage and I rotate TNF Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em weekly. So we have decided that each of us will look back at the previous week and see how the other did. Gage was 1 of 2 in his big columns.

His start of the week was Davante Adams, who went BONKERS against a weak Eagles secondary. Adams ended up with 28 ppr fantasy points, on the back of 10 catches for 180 yards. He put up those numbers without a touchdown and after exiting the game early.

Even though Gage nailed his start of the week, his Sit of the Week was, well less than ideal. He had Aaron Rodgers tabbed for an off game. So of course he threw for 422 yards and two touchdowns.

Rodgers, up to last Thursday, had only been averaging 13 fantasy points per game, so it was understandable Gage thought he could struggle. Gage fell for one of the two classic blunders. The most famous of which is never get involved in a land war in Asia, but only slightly less well-known is never bet against Aaron Rodgers when fantasy football is on the line. Inconceivable.

Enough about last week, though. For the second straight week, we have a tasty showdown on Thursday Night Football. The Rams take on the Seahawks, and both teams sit at 3-1. The loser of this game will drop to third place in the NFC West, and that division looks to be a three-headed monster right now. Expect this to be a dog fight of a game, adding a little more juice to Thursday Night football than usual.

As a disclaimer, I am not going to be covering the absolute studs in the start column. Do you have Cooper Kupp? Chris Carson? Great. Start them.

Most teams don’t have the depth to be sitting guys like that based on match up. Instead, I will look at guys who have a chance to have big games that may not be in your lineup, or that you may be on the fence about. So let’s get started with my Start of the Week.
