WINNER: DARREL WILLIAMS

Yes, Darrel Williams had a fumble in the game, but he’s stepped up in the absence of Damien Williams and the Chiefs might have something with this kid moving forward. In this game, he rushed for only 13 yards, but had two touchdowns, including the game winner in the final minute of the game. Williams also had 43 yards receiving off of three receptions.

WINNER: BASHAUD BREELAND

Bashaud Breeland has looked like a sneaky good signing through four games and has made his presence known for sure. He had the “controversial” fumble recovery that he took the other way for a touchdown and that ended up being huge for this team.

WINNER: BYRON PRINGLE

Okay, this one is mostly for the K-State fans out there, but how big was that catch and run by Byron Pringle in the final minute of the game?! Mahomes connected with Pringle, who caught the ball and took a few hard blows while holding onto the football for dear life. It was a big moment for the K-State product and it’s nice to see him out there doing work while Tyreek Hill is out.

WINNER: PATRICK MAHOMES IN CRUNCH TIME

What a drive by Patrick Mahomes to take the lead and get the victory! Mahomes didn’t have a great day, failing to throw a touchdown for the first time this season, but that final drive he led was golden.

The biggest play on the drive was a run from Mahomes on fourth and eight in which he converted and kept the drive (and the game) alive. Without that run by Mahomes, the Chiefs are 3-1 right now. He then went on to lead the team down the field and help get them in the end zone, even if he didn’t directly get them the touchdown.

We’ve seen all-time greats lead touchdown drives like this and Mahomes looked unfazed by the moment. He was terrific.
