Nebraska Football: Three things to watch in week five vs Ohio State
Nebraska football faces their toughest foe to date this season when the Ohio State Buckeyes come to Lincoln, which is the host of College Game Day this week. What should we watch for when the Huskers and Buckeyes square off?
A 3-1 record is a sight to behold for Nebraska football fans after how last season started off. While not all of their wins have been pretty, the Huskers are 3-1 and will be going up against their toughest opponent of the season this Saturday: the fifth ranked Ohio State Buckeyes, who are currently a 17 point favorite over Nebraska.
These two played each other last year in Columbus and the Huskers held their own and gave the Buckeyes a hard fought battle, forcing the game to come down to the wire.
That was then, however, and this is now. Ohio State looks a heck of a lot better than they did a season ago, as transfer quarterback Justin Fields looks unstoppable for the Buckeyes. Along with Fields, Ohio State has a stingy defense that will make it difficult for the Cornhuskers to play the type of game they want to, even at home.
So, with all of that said, let’s get to watch Nebraska fans should be watching for as College Game Day comes to Lincoln for the Huskers vs the Buckeyes!
