We’re now into the fourth week of the NFL season! Who should you start and who should you sit this week in fantasy football?

We’re approaching the time where you truly know if a player on your fantasy football team is worthy of hanging onto or if you should toss him to the waiver wire. Sure, it’s still early in the season, but the fourth week is normally when it’s advised to drop a player if he hasn’t produced much for you, assuming he’s a lesser known name.

Week four is the beginning of some teams being on bye weeks, meaning you might be in more of a bind than normal to find starting options. For instance, I’m relying on Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback while Drew Brees is out, and the 49ers are on a bye this week, so I had to find another option to slot in as my QB in week four.

With three weeks of NFL action officially in the books, let’s take a look at how I did with my featured five Start ‘Ems last week.

  • Josh Allen – Underperformed against a bad Bengals defense, scoring 18.3 fantasy points.
  • Chris Carson – Terrible showing, only mustering 4.1 fantasy points.
  • Larry Fitzgerald –  Not a terrible performance, totaling 14.6 fantasy points.
  • Vance McDonald – Awful suggestion, scored only 2 points for his fantasy owners.
  • Cowboys D/ST – They had Miami’s offense, but the ‘Boys came through with 11 points.

Now let’s take a look at my featured five Sit ‘Ems from week three.

  • Jared Goff – Not a great showing; He had 14.1 fantasy points against the Browns.
  • Phillip Lindsay – Hopefully you didn’t listen to me here, as he totaled 29 points.
  • Mike Williams – Continues to disappoint in LA, recently scoring just 7.5 fantasy points.
  • T.J. Hockenson – Good suggestion here, as the rookie had just 1.1 fantasy points.
  • Ravens D/ST – If you played them against KC, that’s on you, bud; They had -6 points.

Let’s see how I fare in week four!
