    Future Lineup 2022

    2. Adalberto Mondesi SS (Signed long-term)
    3. Jorge Soler DH (Signed long-term)
    4. Hunter Dozier 3B
    5. Nick Pratto 1B
    6. Brewer Hicklen RF
    7. Meibrys Viloria C
    8. Kyle Isbel LF*

*If Clint Frazier is acquired this offseason he’d slot into the #5 spot taking over in left field.

The Kansas City Royals are going to continue to build their line-ups around defense and speed. The power breakouts of Soler and Dozier give the line-up a new twist. If McBroom, O’Hearn, Phillips, and Starling breakout offensively in 2020, the organization will be ahead of schedule in terms of their line-up competitiveness.

The Royals’ future line-up will feature more speed and power than the current roster. The 2022 Royals could get 30+ stolen bases seasons out of Khalil Lee, Adalberto Mondesi, and Brewer Hicklen. The team could also get 15+ stolen bases seasons out of Kyle Isbel and Nicky Lopez.

At least league average or above power could come from Mondesi, Soler, Dozier, Pratto, Hicklen, Viloria, and Isbel giving the Kansas City Royals a very exciting and competitive offense.
