The Kansas City Chiefs moved to 3-0 on the year after defeating the playoff caliber Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead by a score of 33-28. Who played the biggest roles in this victory for the Chiefs?

Being undefeated is a great feeling and the Kansas City Chiefs have several players to thank for their 33-28 win over the Baltimore Ravens, who put up quite the battle against our fearless Chiefs. Here are the players who helped make the victory happen.

DARREL WILLIAMS

The Chiefs got their ground game going a bit more and a large part of that is due to the efforts of one Darrel Williams, who was stepping in for the injured Damien Williams. Darrel didn’t get talked about much during the offseason, as Damien got a lot of the focus, as did rookie Darwin Thompson.

Once LeSean McCoy was added to the fold, it seemed like Darrel would be completely forgotten about, but he stepped up on Sunday and helped the Chiefs get this W. He rushed for 62 yards off of nine carries while grabbing five balls for 47 yards through the air. McCoy got the touchdowns and the glory, but make no mistake; Darrel Williams was a huge part of the Chiefs winning this game.

EMMANUEL OGBAH

Emmanuel Ogbah has been the best player on the defensive side of the ball for the KC Chiefs and it’s hard to really even debate that right now. The man tallied 1.5 sacks to go along with three quarterback hits, two tackles, and a pass defensed on Sunday. He’s leading the team in sacks at the moment with 2.5 and looks to fit this defense perfectly.

MECOLE HARDMAN

The rookie out of Georgia continued to work defenses, but this time he did it on less tries. Mecole Hardman had just two receptions on Sunday, but one of them was an 83-yard touchdown catch and run. Hardman also had a key play near the end of the game, fair catching the Ravens’ unique onside kick strategy and helping avoid potential disaster.

FRANK CLARK

Frank Clark finally recorded a sack! ‘Nuff said. He was bought in to get after the quarterback and he finally got after him on Sunday.

PATRICK MAHOMES

We can probably start making this list “aside from Patrick Mahomes“, but until I decide to do that, here he is on this list once again. Mahomes threw for 374 yards and three touchdowns and still hasn’t thrown an interception this season. He has ten touchdown passes on the year.

This was another great game from the Kansas City Chiefs and we’ll have to see if any new names join this list when the Chiefs hopefully beat the Detroit Lions in week four!
