LOSER: DARWIN THOMPSON

In a week where Damien Williams wasn’t active, it was time for rookie Darwin Thompson to up the ante and show what he could do. The end result was four carries and eight yards for the Utah State product.

Thompson had a lot of buzz surrounding him all offseason and fans wouldn’t have been shocked if he surpassed Williams at some point, but he’s clearly third on the depth chart behind LeSean McCoy and Darrel Williams.

The biggest reason I put Thompson here on the loser section, however, is because near the end of the game, he stepped out of bounds and helped give the Ravens more time in a tight game. Sure it didn’t end up mattering because the Chiefs won the game, but that could have wound up being a costly mistake by the sixth round rookie.

LOSER: RUN DEFENSE

All you really have to do here is look at Mark Ingram‘s numbers from Sunday and you’ll see why. He rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries and was unstoppable against the Chiefs.

The Ravens run game as a whole racked up 203 yards with Lamar Jackson accounting for 46 of those and finding a touchdown with his legs. So yes, the Chiefs surrendered four rushing touchdowns on Sunday and should consider themselves lucky to have won the game after the performance by Ingram.
