6. Butker’s Rebound

Kicker Harrison Butker missed the point-after-touchdown after the Chiefs scored to make it 20-6, allowing the Ravens to remain within two scores. After that, he rebounded, making all three of his following kicks, two of which were field goals.

7. The Play of Mecole Hardman

He only had two receptions on the day, but they were both dandies. On the first, he concentrated after the ball was tipped, caught it behind the line of scrimmage, and reversed field to not only avoid a loss but also to turn the play into a positive, netting 14 yards. The second went for six as Hardman torched the Ravens secondary for an 83-yard touchdown.

He also properly secured a fair catch on the Ravens unorthodox drop-kick with under time minutes as well as recovered a fumble.

8. Frank Clark‘s Weird Sack

His first as a Chief! It looked just like a bear-hug. Oh, well. Got the job done.

9. Balanced Rushing Attack

Five Chiefs had at least one rushing attempt with Darrel Williams pacing the bunch with nine. LeSean McCoy had eight; Mahomes and rookie Darwin Thompson each had four; and Hardman took a jet sweep for seven yards. In total, the Chiefs ran the ball 26 times for 140 yards and one touchdown.

10. Ogbah’s Sack

Perhaps the most forgotten player added to the defense in a massive overhaul, Emmanuel Ogbah had a nice sack of Lamar Jackson. Bearing down on the second-year quarterback, Ogbah was able to keep his composure as Jackson tried to escape, settling down and then taking down Jackson for a decent loss. He’s got 1.5 sacks on the season.
