LOSER: FIRST QUARTER DEFENSE

When the Raiders went down the field quickly on their first drive, a lot of Chiefs fans were probably thinking “Ooh boy, here we go”. Oakland scored a field goal on that first drive and on their next drive, went the length of the field and scored an easy touchdown. It was 10-0 before many of us had settled in for an evening of football.

The good news is that would be it for the Oakland offense when it came to putting up points. The defense figured things out and shut the Raiders offense down for the rest of the afternoon, picking off Derek Carr twice and sacking him three times.

LOSER: FIRST QUARTER OFFENSE

For the first time in 22 games, the Chiefs offense was unable to put points on the board. They came out looking flat against the Raiders, who had confidence after dismantling the Broncos on Monday night in week one. Even with the lack of firepower in the first quarter, we saw how quickly that changed when the second quarter commenced.
