From a fantasy football standpoint, there is great potential for this week’s Thursday night game to have a few high scorers. Let’s discuss who you should fire up in your lineups and who to keep on your bench for week two.

While the actual NFL season kicked off a week ago, there was a far more important season that subsequently started: fantasy football season. Joking aside, this is your go-to in order to start your fantasy weeks off on the right foot. I will be doing my absolute best, every other week, to lead you to a fantasy title.

Thursday night football is always a little tricky. When starting a guy on Thursday night, or any night for that matter, match-ups are usually the biggest indicator toward a big week. Thursdays are always wonky, and I’m superstitious toward them, making sure to not lose my week on that night alone.

That being said, this is a Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em column for just Thursday night.

For instance, if you drafted Christian McCaffrey, maybe first overall, you’re starting him every week – he’ s matchup proof. You won’t find him in these columns, so start him. There are only a handful of those guys in the league, however, and all of this depends on the team you have assembled.

So without further ado, let’s get this thing started.
