START ‘EM – D/ST

D/ST. Seahawks. Seattle D/ST. 9. player. 36.

We’re not looking at the Legion of Boom anymore, but the Seahawks still managed to maintain a nice defensive unit. They’ll get a favorable match-up at home to start the season with the Bengals coming to town.

Cincinnati won’t have A.J. Green in this game, so that bodes well for Seattle, even if the Bengals did hire offensive guru Zac Taylor to take over at head coach. Be sure you have the Seahawks defense locked and loaded for week one.

SIT ‘EM – D/ST

10. . D/ST. Texans. Houston D/ST. 10. player

Normally the Texans are a defense that I’d be quite high on each week, but their week one game isn’t a good match-up for them at all. They’ll travel to New Orleans for Monday Night Football in what should be a high-scoring affair.

We’ve seen what the Saints can do on offense and even the best defenses in the league have troubles stopping them when they’re at their hottest point. Keep Houston’s defense on the bench this week.
