START ‘EM – TE

Tight End. Raiders. Darren Waller. 7. player. 28.

With the suspension of Antonio Brown by the Raiders themselves (Raiders gonna Raider), that opens things up a bit more for the rest of the Oakland offense. It propels Darren Waller into an even more prominent role, as the Raiders tight end now will be one of the main targets come Sunday afternoon.

While Waller doesn’t have the most experience, he’s worth a flier on at tight end this weekend, especially considering how thin the position is in fantasy football. Give Darren Waller a chance!

SIT ‘EM – TE

player. 87. . Tight End. Panthers. Greg Olsen. 8

Two things factor into why Greg Olsen is considered a Sit ‘Em for week one. The main is the match-up itself, as the Rams are a tough defensive unit. They’ll be out for blood in the early weeks of the season due to their Super Bowl loss and wanting to show they’re still the top dogs in the NFC.

The other big thing with Olsen is injuries. He’s barely been on the field the last two years and now he’ll attempt to have a comeback season for the ages. Even if Olsen is healthy and playing on Sunday, don’t expect him to rack up the points for you. His days as one of the top options at tight end are long gone.
