Fantasy football season has finally arrived! With that, it’s time to dive into who to start and who to sit for opening weekend of the NFL.

It doesn’t feel like it’s been over eight months since we last saw meaningful action in fantasy football, but it has been! Fortunately, the NFL kicked off the 2019 season this past Thursday and almost every other game will be played this coming Sunday with a few more sprinkled in on Monday.

With fantasy football back on the agenda, that means it’s time for yet another season of Start Em, Sit Em. The point of Start Em, Sit Em is to help fantasy owners decide who to play and who to keep on their bench each week.

I’ll go through each position and list an option to start and an option to sit. I won’t go the cheap route and mention any of the obvious stars. If you have Patrick Mahomes on your team, then you better be starting him (unless it’s a bye week, then don’t do that). This will be for the guys who you might be on the fence about starting.

It’s a little more difficult in these early weeks to figure out who to start and sit because we don’t know what teams look like quite yet. That’s the fun of it though.

With that said, let’s get into the first Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em of the 2019 season!
