Week 10 – Kansas City Chiefs at Tennessee Titans (Leigh)

The Titans are one of the least appealing teams in the entire NFL. Sure, there are less interesting teams like the Lions, the Dolphins, and the Bengals, but Tennessee has to be up there with the uninteresting squads, right?

That being said, this is a franchise that has had Kansas City’s number over the years and nothing made that more painfully obvious than the Wild Card loss in the 2017 season. I choose not to remember that and I imagine a lot of other Chiefs fans are with me on that matter.

Anyway – Back to week ten.

At this point in the season, the Kansas City Chiefs are 8-1 and look to be on their way to a fourth straight AFC West title and a potential second straight number one seed in the AFC playoffs. It would make sense that they’d look down on the lowly Titans in week ten and look ahead to their week 11 match-up in Mexico City against the Chargers, right?

That’s what happens and the Chiefs, once again, lose to the Tennessee Titans. I know fans won’t even consider this to be a scenario that happens, but every year the Chiefs lose a game that they have no business losing and in 2019, that game comes against the Titans in week ten.

The Titans are a sneaky team and have upset contenders in the past, including the freaking Patriots last year, the Chiefs in the playoffs in 2017, and the Chiefs in the regular season in 2016. Let’s give credit where credit is due. They’re season spoilers for some teams.

PREDICTION: The Chiefs offense has been mostly dynamite all season long, but they sleep through this one and it’s a rare off week for the explosive offense. The defense actually keeps them in the game, but it’s not enough.

Titans 27, Chiefs 20

STANDOUT PLAYER: Chris Jones beats the crap out of whoever is under center for the Titans and racks up two and a half sacks on the day.

RECORD: 8-2
