Fantasy football season has arrived! Kicking off the NFL season is Bears vs Packers on Thursday Night Football. Who should you start and who should you sit in this game?

Ladies and Gentlemen, the wait is almost over. We are mere hours away from the NFL kicking off its 100th season with one of the best rivalry games of all time taking center stage: Bears vs Packers. Iconic franchises set to do battle to kick off what shapes up to be a historic season for the NFL. It’s also time for fantasy football season to begin! Hooray!

Real football is back, baby! As mentioned above, that also means fake football is here as well. Hello all, my name is Kole Berrey, and on alternating weeks, I’ll be your handy Thursday night fantasy guide. Thursday night games can be one of the most stressful in the world of fantasy.

Banged up players have less time to heal, lineups need to be set at abnormal times and match-ups can be even harder to predict on short weeks. Don’t fret though, because (does best All Might impression) I Am Here!

Let’s start with a few disclaimers.

First off, fantasy football is supposed to be fun. So expect me to be more loose with the pop culture references in these posts (ten points to anyone who caught my anime reference above.)

Second, this is a Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em column. I won’t ever be phoning it in. Did you draft Saquon Barkley number one overall? Good. Start him. I will never bog you down with the obvious names in here, because high picks are usually weekly starts.

Every now and then bad match-ups or injury might force me to put a superstar on the sit side of things, but for the most part, I’ll try to give more attention to the actual hard decisions. Lastly, I promise to sink or swim with you. If I have any players on these lists, I vow to follow my own advice. No hedge betting, no cop outs. What I give you is what I’ll do.

Every week when I take over the post, I’ll also self scout myself. If I get a Start or Sit terribly wrong, I’ll own up to it. We will grow as fantasy players together. So, without further ado, let us get on to the first lineup of Starts and Sits for the 2019 season.
