RANKING QUARTERBACKS ON CHIEFS SCHEDULE

NUMBER 6 – MATTHEW STAFFORD

Matthew Stafford was really hard to rank on here. When looking at his numbers, he could potentially be a borderline Hall of Famer. The problem with Stafford is that the Lions are a rough organization to be a part of.

Last year, Stafford had a down year, throwing for 3,777 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 11 picks through all 16 games of the regular season. It was the lowest passing yards Stafford had put up since 2010 when he only played in three games.

Stafford is this high on the list because he is capable of putting up big numbers and is always healthy. He’s not someone that necessarily should scare Chiefs fans, but when he’s hot, he can be tough to beat. The Lions also tend to win games they shouldn’t and they host the Chiefs when the two meet up in week four.

Honestly, Matthew Stafford could be ranked lower than this on a lot of peoples’ lists (and he probably is), but I opted to place him seventh on the toughest quarterbacks for the Chiefs to face in 2019.
