RANKING QUARTERBACKS ON CHIEFS SCHEDULE

NUMBER 9 – MITCHELL TRUBISKY

This is where it starts to get tricky, as the next few quarterbacks could be swapped with one another very easily.

Mitchell Trubisky is tenth on here because while he had a respectable sophomore season in 2018, he’s benefitted by having a coach like Matt Nagy to guide him. While that might not make for a long career, it could throw a wrench in the Chiefs’ plans late in the 2019 season when they travel to Chicago in week 16 for Sunday Night Football.

Trubisky saw his first full season at the helm for Da Bears last year, throwing for 3,223 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 12 picks while rushing for 421 yards and three touchdowns with his legs through 14 starts.

The Bears game is going to be tough due to their smothering defense and whatever plays Nagy can cook up on offense. Mitchell Trubisky isn’t going to have Chiefs fans shaking in their boots though. He’s incredibly inconsistent and that’s what makes him tough to rank.

That being said, tenth on this list seems like a good spot for him because when he’s having a good night, he’s incredibly fun to watch and can beat just about anyone. But he’s capable of some really bad nights too. Hopefully the Chiefs get that version of Trubisky in late December.
