2. Jeremiah Attaochu could be making a late offseason push for a roster spot

The player of the game for the Chiefs was definitely Jeremiah Attaochu. He was all over the field and ended the game with six tackles and two sacks. Attaochu started the game off hot with a very athletic sack, reaching out with one hand to trip the quarterback for a sack ending the Packers first drive.

He didn’t stop there though. The Packers’ next drive was again ended at the hands of Attaochu, who made a tackle short of the line to gain on a third-down screen pass. Oh, and by the way, the play before was a sack for Attaochu for his second sack of the game in just the first two drives.

He also was able to put some pressure on the quarterback again toward the end of the first half on a near sack and was able to throw his hands up at the last minute to force an incompletion. He then started off hot in the second half as well with a quarterback hit and a tackle in the Packers first few plays.

With Dorian O’Daniel‘s less than stellar play and Attaochu’s great final preseason game, Attaochu could find himself on the Chiefs 53-man roster to start the season.
