FANTASY FOOTBALL WIDE RECEIVERS TO TARGET IN 2019

NUMBER 6 – JUJU SMITH-SCHUSTER

2018 Standard Scoring: 9th (185.9)

2018 PPR Scoring: 8th (296.9)

This was touched on a little earlier with Antonio Brown, but Ben Roethlisberger is the gunslinger of all gunslingers. He is not afraid to throw the ball around the field. In fact, last season the Steelers were first in the league in pass attempts and completions, second in passing yards, and top five in passing touchdowns.

These numbers have to look beautiful to JuJu Smith-Schuster after he realized that he is now the guy in that offense this year. With no Antonio Brown, that leaves Smith-Schuster as the primary receiving option to benefit from Roethlisberger’s pass-happy offense and there are really no big threats to cut into his target shares.

Smith-Schuster could jump into the conversation with the top wide receivers in the league after this season.

When looking at Smith-Schuster’s 1,426 yards receiving and seven touchdowns from last season, it’s scary to think that those numbers should increase this year. Brown had over 1,800 yards and double-digit touchdowns one season. Could Smith-Schuster put up numbers similar this season?

Smith-Schuster is going to cost you at least a second-round pick this year, but he may even go in round one in your fantasy draft. He should be well worth either price tag this year though.
