De’Anthony Thomas

A familiar face has rejoined the Chiefs! De’Anthony Thomas, a former fourth round pick in 2014, had his ups and downs in Kansas City and it finally looked like the organization had moved on from him this offseason.

Not so fast though. The Chiefs brought in Thomas on Tuesday, likely due to the injury to Marcus Kemp. Even with the injury, Thomas isn’t a sure thing to make the team and very well could be another camp body this summer.

Jalen Tolliver

In response to getting bitten by the injury bug, the Chiefs have signed receiver Jalen Tolliver. Tolliver is an undrafted free agent in his second season in the league, already spending time with the Arizona Cardinals and Tennessee Titans.

The 6’3″, 210 pound receiver did see the field in the regular season last year with the Cardinals, making three catches for 37 yards. That’s not saying much, but at least he moved past the practice squad, even if for a bad 2018 Cardinals team. This is likely just due diligence signing as it’s fairly late in the preseason for Tolliver to make a noticeable impression to stay with the team.
