The Kansas City Chiefs have one of the better receiving corps in the NFL. Needless to say, the competition to make it on this roster is a lot tougher. This is a great position to be in as the Chiefs make another push for the Super Bowl.

Not many years ago, Kansas City Chiefs fans celebrated the arrival of free agent wide receiver Jeremy Maclin. This came after a season in which the team had zero receiving touchdowns from its wide receivers.

Maclin helped rejuvenate that receiver group, but even his presence didn’t strike much fear into the hearts of Kansas City’s opponents. Fast forward to 2019, though, and it’s a whole different story.

With Patrick Mahomes exploding onto the scene and some talent and speed at wide receiver, the Chiefs now boast one of the more lethal receiver groups in the entire league. In spite of losing Chris Conley to free agency last spring, this group looks primed to be even better this coming season.

Even taking star Travis Kelce and the tight end position out of the equation, these receivers alone can take down opponents handily. Let’s take a look at who’s in and who’s on the outside looking in for making this roster in 2019.
